Neighborhood Advisory Commission
City of Carrollton
4 Jan 2011
Dear Commission Members,
As directed by the City of Carrollton Neighborhood Advisory Commission on Nov. 11, 2010,
the Woodcreek Homeowners Association conducted a poll of the 53 residents living on Southern
Circle, Belvedere and Southern Court who are part of the Mill Valley 1 subdivision. The question
before them was whether they wished to "__ have "Woodcreek" signs at the Southern Circle and
Kelly Blvd entry-way." A copy of the ballot is attached for your reference.
Each eligible residence was mailed one ballot accompanied by a self addressed stamped
return envelope. The ballots were mailed on December 7, 2010 and it was requested that
returned ballots be postmarked by Dec. 22, 2010. As of Jan. 4, 2011, twenty four ballots have been
received at our P.O. Box. Eighteen respondents were in favor of the sign at the Southern Circle
and Kelly entry‐way, six were opposed and one ballot was returned as undeliverable due to vacancy.
In the accompanying file, you will find scans of the received ballots. Should you have any
questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact Russell Tether at
russell@russelltether.com (469-939-1344) or Jon Ortega at jon@ortegaworks.com
(214-850-0969).
Best regards,
Jon Ortega, Vice President

Good Morning Mr. Ortega,
I
hope all is well on your end. Please note that Neighborhood Advisory
Commission unanimously approved Woodcreek entryway monument sign project
last Thursday. I’ll prepare the final agreements today and email you
and Al when they are ready. I believe they have to be signed by Al. Do
you know if he’s back in town?
